Utah Family Institute (UFI) was established in 1997 and has been helping Utah families by providing them with the most up to date, clinically proven treatment modalities available ever since.
Children (3-12 years old) UFI has therapists who are trained and certified in trauma informed, researched based treatments in order to help children with a variety of conditions. | Adolescents (13-18 years old) UFI therapists have over 130 years of combined experience working with teenagers. | Adults Helping adults resolve challenges pertaining to parenting, relationships, addiction and mental health concerns. |
Families UFI has trained therapists in researched based family therapy modalities that have proven to decrease negativity and improve relationships within the family system. | Groups Helping various populations address issues of aggression, trauma, addiction, parenting, and relationships in a group setting. | Evaluations UFI psychologists and clinicians are specialized in the field of evaluating parental fitness, intellectual functioning, visitation, domestic violence, substance abuse, adoption home studies, psychological and neuropsychological issues. |

Utah Family Institute (UFI) was established in 1997 by Dr. Darin Featherstone and has been helping Utah families by providing them with the most up to date, clinically proven treatment modalities available. Utah Family Institute’s clinicians are committed to upholding the highest level of training through continuing education and to maintaining the best practice standards and ethical values the children, adolescents, and adults we serve are entitled to. Our therapists have a wealth of knowledge and experience to help the families in our community build trust in themselves and others, increase coping skills, improve personal strength and develop additional competences, improve relationships, resolve emotional and psychological issues, and decrease client’s current level of distress. We also aid clients in offering a variety of psychological evaluation and assessment services.
